Description

So it's update season again! Oh look, it's apron-Jo! Back-view Imagine! And profile re-organization, but not really major character overhaul. Imagine doesn't really change, ever. Just parts of her past or powers most of the time. Also, now with history.

Name: Jordan Myrddin

Alias: Imagine
Other Names/Nick Names: "Jo" by most who associate with her.
Gender: Female
Race: Part Human/Part Fae
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Age: Early-Mid 20's
Parents/Siblings: Mother (deceased, natural causes), Father (deceased, unnatural causes), Stepmother (deceased, unnatural causes), Stepbrother (alive), Younger brother (alive and well).
Alignment: Uhhh Villain, chaotic neutral (or maybe chaotic stupid)
Affiliations/Teams: Solo

Appearance:
Eye Color: Green
Hair Color: Brown, kinda chestnut.
Skintone: Fair
Height: 5'6-5'7ish
Markings: Large image of a vulture covering her back.
Other: Jo typically wears make-up, is very fond of lipsticks, and always wears heels--of varying heights. Prefers pointy toe.

Personality:
-Bubbly: Jo almost always in a good mood. It gets kinda weird.
-Chatterbox: A little bit of a gossip, but Jo is mostly just very chatty.
-Generally goofy: She finds humor in life, occasionally at the expense of others.
-A bit insensitive: Perhaps clueless is a better name for this, but Jo's pretty bad considering other people's feelings...or safety.
-Flirt Alert!: If Jo find someone attractive, they'll know. This one's not subtle.
-May buy you flowers, may set you on fire: Jo is far from a sadist, but every bit a button-pusher. Making everyone laugh sounds great, making everyone scream sounds hilarious, etc.

Strengths:
+Unpredictable: Jo doesn't know what she's going to do. No one does. A mind-reader's worst nightmare, truly.
+Optimistic: She doesn't know what's going on, but it'll probably work itself out.
+Stealthy: Jo doesn't want to fight anybody--she sneaks around, tries to get in and out as quickly as possible. To commit crimes, of course.
+Personable: Jo's a really friendly person, honestly. If you don't mind the pranks...or the crimes...or the weirdness...
+Ear to the ground: Being a bartender, she hears a lot. She mostly doesn't pay attention to anything that doesn't obviously pertain to her, but sometimes she cares what going on in other people's lives. Kinda.

Weaknesses:
-Cluck cluck she's a chicken: Jo hears screaming, turns on a dime and walks in the other direction. That ain't her business.
-Somewhat impulsive: It's very likely Jo has seen someone's dog, thought she wanted it, tried to steal it only to remember she was more of a cat-person anyway, and then tossed the dog into a tree. This is not a woman who think things through completely.
-Dark magic: Despite being a magical criminal, Jo avoids ever using dark magic. She just uses regular magic in the opposite way from what was intended. Presto!
-Iron: For some reason--possibly because it's man-made, I don't know--magical beings have a weakness to iron. So if you lock Imagine in an iron box, she can't get out of it. Such bs.
-Not great at swimming: Started from an old rp, but also kind of joke about witches "are supposed to float." Not this witch.

Powers:
Imagine casts spells by saying words backwards, a la Zatanna-style. So if she's setting something on fire, she'll say, "ERIF!" The actually speaking of the words doesn't necessarily need to happen for a spell to be cast--saying a something just helps the caster direct their magic. So if someone duct tapes her mouth shut, she can still cast spell, but they'll be messy and not as powerful. Simple spells, like picking up her keys from a table across the room, don't require speaking. But turning someone into a toad will require some very specific wording.

Imagine can also make potions, and perform rituals. If rituals have specific spells that go along with them, those will need to be said aloud no matter how powerful she is + potions always require the correct ingredients.

+Jo's vulture tat is actually a Witch's Mark, it's kind of like a magical mole or freckle. They can change shape and size, but Jo's went stagnant when she was in early-teens. In the form of a bigass vulture. They typically take the shape of a natural being--i.e. a plant or animal. Very bad when hiding from witch-hunters.

Weapons:
-Cane: Carried around in the form of a green stone for the sake of convenience, Jo is never without a cane to beat anything and everything with. Batman has batarangs, Imagine has pimpstick cane.
+Other Accessories:
-Broomstick: Old school? Yes. But it gets the job done. Batman has the Batmobile, Imagine has a broomstick. You can tell which one's a billionaire.
-Skull necklace: Method of transportation for pimpstick-stone when Jo's not moonlighting as Imagine.

Background/History:

Jordan "Jo" Green grew up in Southern, god-fearing America. Until she was a preteen, she lived with her single mother in a trailer. It wasn't great, exactly, but Jo didn't really have much to complain about. Jo didn't think anything was strange about her powers, but she didn't get out much, and her mother was always working. Unfortunately, when her mother had a psychotic break (whoa that came outta nowhere) and needed to be put in a mental hospital, and Jo was shipped of to her dad's.

Her father (Mr. Sinnott) was a moderately wealthy, married man who had an affair with her mother. Jo did not mesh well into the folds of his already established family, completely with wife (her stepmother) and son (stepbrother). She was enrolled in the same school as her stepbrother, a private religious school, which she then skipped out of all the time. Sometimes she wandered off, not exactly running away but avoiding home when she met Ms. Mryddin, her future mentor. She worked as Ms. Mryddin's assistant by day and apprentice by night, and all was pretty okay by Jo standards.

Jo's life capsized again when The Incident That Involved A Cat happened, which ended killing both her father and stepmother. Now, Jo wasn't particularly bothered by this because she never liked them in the first place, but Ms. Myrddin kicked her out of their town and told her never to come back. Despite the bitterness between them, Jo started calling herself "Jordan Myrddin" instead of "Jordan Green".

Jo spent a few years wandering around America and Europe (straight up thievin'), but came back when she found out her mom had been released from the hospital some years ago, moved to California (name drop Jump City), and died--and was very surprised when she met her younger brother, who then became her charge. She started working as a bartender, moonlighting as a theif, and caring for her dorky younger brother. All in their crappy, too small apartment downtown. It's all pretty okay by Jo's standards.

That's a wrap!
